Swami Sita's 2007 Teaching Calendar

I am a spiritual teacher in the lineage of Sankaracharya. My teacher is Swami Vishnu-devananda (1927-1993) whose teacher is Swami Sivananda (1887-1963). My spiritual heritage comes from India and my spiritual teachers are himalayan yogis. I was born in Central Vietnam and have spent most of my life (the past 25 years) in my Guru's ashrams in Canada, USA and India practicing and teaching the classical Yoga and meditation methods. I have taught numerous students in Yoga, meditation and Vedanta. My passion is being the instrument to the transmission of spiritual knowledge and bringing light to areas of spiritual ignorance in human life. I am offering all my life work to the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers organization, headquarters in Canada, which has been founded by my teacher Swami Vishnu-devananda in 1963. This is my way to continue to imbibe the teachings from my illustrious teachers and to continue their mission of enlightenment and uplifting humanity.

I have noticed that most of us are suffering from isolation and lack of support on our spiritual path. For me, I had the privilege to stay in ashrams and to benefit directly from the very beautiful and conducive atmosphere of the ashram. I feel for all those who are not able to stay in the ashrams as I do and who still have to maintain a very busy schedule of work, family, and society responsibilities. I would like to create a way to keep supporting these spiritual heroes by offering my services of lectures, satsangs, and writings in a personal manner.

The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm (www.yogafarm.org) where I reside and teach is an ideal place to come for daily satsangs and practices, actualizing the teachings of our Masters. But again, for those who know me and would like more in depth knowledge at a remote distance, this website is an alternative way to keep the connection to the teachings. I am offering this service to sincere students on the path of knowledge. It is not for my name and fame but rather using the technology available to reach out and keep the connection with you. The only thing I ask is that you communicate with me, give your feedback, make use of the information in the most selfless way possible, and that you help spread this mission of peace by your time, energy and donation.
