COURSES

To be personally tutored by Swami Sitaramananda by correspondence, please choose between the following options.

This personalized training/coaching program is based on the teachings of Swami Vishnu-devananda and Swami Sivananda and follows the outline of the  "Step-to-Step Guide to Peace of Mind." This outline includes the seven cultures (physical culture, energy culture, sense culture, mental culture, emotional culture, intellectual culture and spiritual culture) and will be introduced to you upon registration. Enquire for application form.

Option A: Attend the 10-day meditation training course offered at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm, Grass Valley Ca. (Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm Calendar) and afterward attend 10 weekend retreats during 1-2 years at the Yoga Farm with personal meeting time to follow up on your progress and answer your questions. There is nothing better than live meetings and group sadhana and group satsanga in an established ashram with a pure and sattvic environment. You have had an experience already with the TTC immersion program.

Option B: Attend both  10 day meditation course (level II - Meditation immersion ) and the 10 days meditation course (level III - Vedanta, Self enquiry and Silence)

Option C: Visit first for three days at the Yoga Farm or another Sivananda Ashram with personal consultation with Swami Sitaramananda and proceed with a 1-3 year Internet correspondence course divided in 7 sections with weekly exercises, assigned reading and videos, exam questions and topic-specific email dialogue. The idea is that the Teacher and student develop and maintain a personal connection so that their communication is more complete and not only intellectual.

Option D: Join a complete immersion program at the Yoga Farm with training to become a meditation teacher. Acceptance limited. I reserve the privilege to select qualified student upon interviews.  This program will be open to those who have monastic tendencies and whose karma allows them to commit full-time for 11 months a year for a period from 3-5 years residing full time at the ashram and doing karma yoga full time without remuneration. The student is committed to help this mission of teaching and propagating Yoga and Vedanta. During that period, I will be your personal tutor and coach.

Donations:
Traditionally, to receive knowledge, a student needs to support the teacher and the institution of teaching, so there will be tuition fees involved for each of the three options. These fees can be on a sliding scale, depending on your circumstances.
Option A: $1845 (10 days + 10 x 2 days = 30 days, dorm accomodation included) - normal rate $2050
Option B: $1695 (20 days - dorm) - normal rate $1894
Option C: $200 per unit (60 hours of study) - $1400 / 7 units. Accommodations at the Ashram, books, materials, tapes, videos not included.
Option D: $300 for the first year, balance to be decided.
